Family Consultations

My passion is supporting parents and families. I understand that parents can only be as happy as their least happy child. When a child is struggling, parents often need guidance on how to support their child, access resources, care for siblings, and how to advocate. When a child is challenging behaviorally, parents often need help understanding the causes of the behavior and need help to co-regulate with their child. It is a lot! And even more difficult when your child has a disability that others don’t understand. Changing our own way of relating can make a huge difference in family life. It is so easy to make things worse instead of better. Sometimes just by following common parenting techniques. Parents can benefit from having an objective outsider to help them get on the “same page.”

Consultations are offered virtually without geographic restrictions. They can be arranged on a one-time basis, on a regular schedule or as needed.
